YS Lifestyle – The Mission
YS Lifestyle is a Christian street-missionary ministry geared toward, but not limited to, the Christian youth. It serves several functions which work together for one common goal and purpose…to bring the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to the world. It is a ministry:
- Which provides venues where youth of all ages can exercise their gifts and talents in dedication to the LORD. No matter what hobby or activity a youth is interested in pursuing, it is encouraged, pushed and sponsored as long as it is done for the glory of God.
- Where the youth are given the opportunity to become prominent and respectful members of their community by providing them with the opportunity to actively serve their community through events such as fundraisers, food drives, clothes drives, streets clean-up projects, visits to convalescent homes, group homes, youth recreation centers and other city/county sponsored program facilities as well as privately owned programs and facilities – giving them confirmation of a higher purpose and motivation in order that they may succeed in life as they grow.
- That works together with the local churches and other ministries and non-profit organizations in order to provide the legwork needed by these entities to get their message of servitude out to their communities and shed more light on these existing ministries by co-sponsoring events and venues such as those mentioned above as well as the events prepared under their own ministry calendars.
- That provides its own seed money by giving every individual involved the opportunity to purchase ministry clothing and novelties representing the YS Lifestyle.
